4 – 8 WEEKS PRIOR
[ ] Mail
invitations at least eight weeks before the
wedding. Make the envelopes clear if you want
the entire family, or just the husband and wife.
[ ] Select
hair and makeup professionals and do trial runs
(with headpiece)
[ ] Call
jeweler to see when rings will be ready for pick
up.
[ ] Write your
own Wedding Vows.
[ ] Think of
your “Something Old, Something New, Something
Borrowed and Something Blue”
2 – 4 WEEKS PRIOR
[ ] Start
seating arrangements. This takes a long time to
work out, so do this at the 4 week mark.
[ ] Call
caterers, DJ or Band, travel agent, etc. and all
service providers to confirm details.
[ ] Send your
wedding announcement to local newspapers
1 WEEK PRIOR
[ ] Give
caterer the final head count. Make sure you tell
them how many children if any, there might be a
discount.
[ ] Pack for
your honeymoon.
[ ] Make
envelopes labeled with all final payments due
for the wedding day so you are ready to pay.
[ ] Treat
yourself to a massage, manicure, pedicure or
facial
[ ] Try to
have the Bachlor/Bachlorette parties sometime
this weekend. It’s not wise to have it the day
before.
THE DAY BEFORE
[ ] Make sure
you don’t let the groom see you! (ok, a little
old fashion superstition)
[ ] Wedding
rehearsal and dinner
[ ] Ask a
friend to stay over your house just to talk and
de-stress you.
[ ] Get a good
night’s sleep, you don’t want bags or dark
circles under your eyes.
THE BIG DAY!
[ ] Have a
great time, enjoy, the day flies by!
